Axel Pulgar (Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a media artist, performance artist, and composer. After completing his studies in the field of electroacoustic arts in Buenos Aires, he emigrated to Germany in 2011 to pursue a career in the field of audio-visual media. He graduated in 2018 from the Cologne Academy of Media Arts (KHM). His thesis, the self-built "Schrank" (installation/audio-visual performance), continues to be showcased at various art festivals. Axel Pulgar resides and works in Cologne as a sound designer, composing music for dance pieces, theater, and animations. He engages in research and education in the field of graphical dataflow programming, focusing on sound and video media. He has shared the stage with international bands and sound artists, and his noise music has been released on South American and European labels.
